Recipients of personal data may include Google Ireland Ltd. and, where applicable, Google LLC (USA) for hosting, analytics (only with consent), and email delivery. Processing by Google is based on Google’s data processing terms / Standard Contractual Clauses. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
Data Collection (Hosting)
This website is hosted by Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you visit this website, your IP address and technical log data are automatically processed to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in technical delivery and security). Log data is retained only as long as necessary for these purposes and according to the hosting provider’s practices (typically for a short period, e.g. up to 30 days). Google may transfer data to servers in the United States. Such transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46 (2) lit. c GDPR and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Fonts
The Inter typeface is self-hosted. No fonts are loaded from third-party servers.
Security
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption.
Contact
If you contact me by email (eiderstedt@gmail.com), your message and any personal data contained in it will be used solely to process your inquiry and deleted once they are no longer needed for that purpose (or longer if legal retention obligations apply). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and/or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
Email is provided via Google Mail (Gmail). Your data is therefore processed by Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC as email provider and may be transferred to the United States under the safeguards described above. The data are not passed on to further third parties for their own purposes.
Google Analytics
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to help analyze how visitors use the website (e.g. pages visited, time on page, approximate region, device and browser type). Your IP address is anonymized (IP masking) before it is used or stored. Google may transfer this data to servers in the United States; such transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46 (2) lit. c GDPR and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Google Analytics only starts collecting data if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode). Until then, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is sent to Google. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG, formerly TTDSG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie Settings” link below or in the footer of any page – this will stop Google Analytics from collecting data on future visits. You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) may remain on your device for up to 2 years. Event data stored in Google Analytics is retained according to the retention period configured in the Google Analytics 4 property (typically between 2 and 14 months).
Cookies & Local Storage
This website itself does not set cookies. Your Accept / Decline choice for Google Analytics is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key cookie_consent) so that the banner does not reappear on every visit. If you consent to Google Analytics, Google sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) as described above. No analytics cookies are set if you decline or do not respond to the cookie banner.
